Our time

We work with great dedication every day to further develop our wines year after year. At the heart of it all is a deep understanding of our vineyards, plots, and soils. The better we know their potential, the more precisely we can work in the vineyard and in the cellar. Our clear focus is on what is closest to our hearts: Pinot Noir from Assmannshausen , shaped by the unique character of our steep slopes.

These steep slopes demand passion, conviction, and a great deal of manual labor – but it is precisely here that the quality arises that makes our wines so expressive. Every vine and every plot tells its own story, which we want to make tangible in our wines. Our aim is to clearly highlight the unique character of our terroir – precisely, elegantly, and deeply connected to our homeland.

Philipp

Philipp is the driving force behind our winery. With great ambition and a keen eye for detail, he works to continuously improve our vineyard management. His passion lies in the sustainable care of the vines, the further development of our methods, and the pursuit of greater finesse – both in the vineyard and in the cellar. His goal: to create wines that clearly showcase the potential of our vineyard sites.

Karen

Karen stands by his side, bringing her own strengths to the winery. As the host of our wine tastings, she creates warm, authentic moments for our visitors. Whether in the wine shop, the wine tavern, or at private celebrations, she conveys a genuine feeling for our region. At the same time, she's a curious "cellar mouse," always learning and enriching the winery with her energy.

And of course, our dog Josef is an indispensable part of our daily life. He accompanies us through the vineyards, brings good cheer, and ensures that we can take a short breather and switch off every now and then – even though almost everything else in our lives revolves around wine.

Together we share a great passion: to offer people an authentic wine experience and to pass on our enthusiasm for Pinot Noir and the unique terroir of Assmannshausen. Every wine we produce is a piece of our story, our work, and our heart.

Ultimately, we want to give you wines that we ourselves love – and that reflect our homeland, our craft and our passion.
